I’m so excited we got a chance to hang out with our friends in Eagle Rock this weekend. We performed on the deck at an amazing house off of the lake. I met so many new faces and I’m happy to share that everyone had a great time!
We did two 45-minute sets with a break in between as is our standard House Show layout. But house shows are never the same. I do a lot of improv and audience participation! Here are some videos from the show.
My favorite song we did at this show is Beautiful Mane from my album Crown and Glory. Even though this is a song about black hair, it’s always fun to see how it’s received among people from other nationalities. Diversity and inclusion are really important to me. I am honored to be able to facilitate comfortable spaces that welcome people from many different races and creeds. Beautiful Mane celebrates the beauty behind our uniqueness - whatever that may be.
